Special Operation Mission Development

  • I led the team to produce 29 unique missions in Armored Warfare over 4 years—21 internal and 8 from our subsidiary studio

  • Specops is a seasonal 3-month update of Campaign story arc with 4 missions in each update​

  • The season's goals changed yearly, from creating a narrative or challenge to being visually appealing and memorable. We needed new approaches to meet community expectations each season

    Mission Overview​​

  • An old ally turned enemy has discovered our settlement.
  • A nearby volcano erupts, forcing a swift evacuation.
  • Protect civilians and allied infantry through collapsing terrain and falling ash.

 

    Contribution

  • Full production cycle

  • Initial Idea, Blockout, Set Dressing, Lighting, Playtest and Polishing

  • Scripting mission events, encounters, and mechanics

  • Cutscene production and camera work

  • Lighting and Weather Effects, FX and Materials shader work

  • Collaboration with Narrative Director on story delivery
